Groundbreaking held for improvements to McArdle Rec

City officials last Friday broke ground on a renovation project at Frank McArdle Memorial Recreation Center, 2801 Welsh Road.

The project will restore and reconfigure 20,000 square feet of recreation space. The renovated space will include new tennis and basketball courts, play equipment and benches.

Funding will come from the city’s capital budget. ••
